ß: Alt + 225 ä: Alt + 132 ö: Alt + 148 ü: Alt + 129 Ä: Alt + 142 Ö: Alt + 153 Ü: Alt + 154
OR
ß: Alt + 0223 ä: Alt + 0228 ö: Alt + 0246 ü: Alt + 0252 Ä: Alt + 0196 Ö: Alt + 0214 Ü: Alt + 0220
Simply keep the ALT key pushed while you type the number (225) on the NUMERIC "keyboard"... When you release ALT, ß will appear!

It should work fairly easily. That's how I also paste in the accent marks in my text (e.g., see my name below).
